During my stay, I was lucky enough to call a Signature Suite Ocean View my home. This suite was over 900 square feet of rustic-chic elegance. The décor was sophisticated yet cozy, making it the perfect place to unwind. And let’s talk about the bathroom – a spacious sanctuary with a luxurious soaking tub and a refreshing rainfall shower. Heaven!
The Royal Treatment
The butler service was nothing short of extraordinary. From arranging dinner reservations to surprising me with delightful treats, they made sure every moment was special. And the twice-daily refreshed mini-bar ensured I always had snacks and drinks at my fingertips. Maid service three times a day? Yes, please!
One of the best perks? The complimentary 25-minute spa treatment. I felt thoroughly pampered from head to toe. Plus, the luxurious bath amenities in my suite rivaled any high-end spa!
A Day in Paradise
One day, I decided to sleep in and fully enjoy my suite. I started the morning with in-room dining on my spacious balcony overlooking the ocean. Trust me, there’s nothing like savoring chilaquiles – my breakfast favorite – with a mimosa in hand and the sound of the waves crashing below. Absolute bliss.
After breakfast, I made my way to the rooftop pool. I spent hours there, lounging in the infinity pool, reading a good book, and soaking in the peaceful vibes. The rooftop pool offers stunning panoramic views that make you feel like you’re on top of the world.
For lunch, I headed to Cielo Impression Rooftop, the poolside restaurant. Dining under the open sky while enjoying ocean breezes – it doesn’t get better than this!
My afternoon was the definition of relaxation. I had an amazing spa experience where I indulged in a massage and facial. Talk about rejuvenating! After the spa, I still had a bit of time, so I ventured to the poolside bar for a delightful cocktail and relaxed beside one of the cenote-style pools. The setting was incredibly serene and the perfect way to wind down before heading back to my suite to prepare for dinner.
Dinner at Teodoro was an absolute highlight. This chef’s table-style restaurant offers a 7-course tasting menu that takes you on a sensory journey of gastronomic brilliance. Each course, crafted from the finest local ingredients and paired with masterfully chosen wines, was like an exceptional piece of art. The meal was a revelation – a perfect combination of flavors and textures, and a testament to the chef’s artistry.
After that unforgettable meal, my friends and I decided to explore a bit more and ended up at the secret speakeasy. It was a fantastic way to end the evening with craft cocktails, great music, and dancing the night away!
